24 Jun How to Find Your Target Audience
What is a target audience and why is it important?
A target audience refers to the group of people that are most likely to be interested in your product or offer. The first part of marketing is knowing who it is you are trying to market to.
Defining your target audience can help you perform better with your marketing efforts because you know exactly how to speak to your audience. Your followers/audience on social media determine your results. So, always make sure that you know your target audience in order to speak to them in a way that makes them want to enroll with your brand. What verbiage and tone are you using? Are you being relevant with your consumers? Are you speaking to them in a way that comes naturally to them and for them to understand?
Take a look at your current customer base and find out who exactly your ideal consumer is, and start tailoring your message to meet their needs. How to find your target audience? ⠀
Ask yourself these questions:
❔Who buys your products most? ⠀
❔What is their age?⠀
❔What is their gender?⠀
❔What are their comment interests/behaviors?
❔What demographic are you trying to target? ⠀
❔Is your messaging clear and concise to this group of people? ⠀
Also remember, you CAN have more than one market. Just note that your marketing tactics might be different for each niche market. Knowing your audience is step 1, after you find your audience you then need to create your messaging that will speak to them. Once you nail down this process, creating content will come much easier because you are putting yourself in the shoes of your ideal consumer.
