Right this second, across the world, users are left unplugged and out of touch! Today, these major platforms have officially bugged-out. Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are all experiencing a major server outage.
"Security experts tracking the situation said the outage likely was triggered by a configuration error that left directions to Facebook servers unavailable. That could be the result of an internal mistake, though sabotage by an insider would be theoretically possible." says an article from Reuters. Leaving roughly 7 billion users without access.
For now, this is temporary as it seems the Facebook team is all over this digital crisis, however this does make us think about the future and how reliant we are on these platforms.
